For many people, owning a horse is simply not possible, so we have the next best option.  We are pleased to offer a variety of options for leasing our quality, experienced horses.  Leasing enables you to spend quality time learning and riding as well practice the skills you are learning in lessons.  We have several options to choose from and may also be able to create custom option if you don't see quite what you are looking for.

**BASIC - Base Fee - $175 per month, minimum lease period is 1 month.
In basic lease program, clients are able to ride their leased horse 1 day per week at a pre-determined day and time.  Clients are required to be in weekly lessons which are $40 per hour.  Lesson fees are due at the beginning of each month and are non-refundable except in the event of an emergency. Horses are to be ridden on site only. The basic lease is meant to fulfill the needs of our clients that would like to have additional time to master their skills and are not planning to show or go off-site.



**INTERMEDIATE
- Base Fee - $225 per month, minimum lease period is 1 month.

In intermediate lease program, clients are able to ride their leased horse 2 days per week at pre-determined days and times.  Clients are required to be in weekly lessons which are $40 per hour.  Lesson fees are due at the beginning of each month and are non-refundable except in the event of an emergency. Horses are to be ridden on site only. The intermediate lease is meant to be an extension of the basic lease for those clients desiring additional riding time and no showing. Extra charges each month may include blanket wash fees, vaccinations/worming, chiropractic work, supplements (case by case basis) and shoeing.


**Level I - Show - Base Fee - $225 per month, minimum lease period is 6 months.

In the Level I – Show lease, clients are able to ride their leased horse 1 day per week at a pre-determined day and time.  Clients are required to be in weekly lessons which are $40 per hour.  Lesson fees are due at the beginning of each month and are non-refundable except in the event of an emergency.  Those in this program are able to attend local schooling and open shows with their leased horse and the Karma Huff Training team. Extra charges each month may include blanket wash fees, vaccinations/worming, chiropractic work, supplements (case by case basis) and shoeing. Additional fees apply for showing and traveling with the team.


**Level II - Show - Base Fee - $300 per month, minimum lease period is 6 months.

In the Level II – Show lease, clients are able to ride their leased horse 2 days per week at pre-determined days and times.  Clients are required to be in weekly lessons which are $40 per hour.  Lesson fees are due at the beginning of each month and are non-refundable except in the event of an emergency.  Those in this program are able to attend local schooling and open shows as well as breed shows that are in the Northwest, not to include regional or national shows with their leased horse and the Karma Huff Training team. Extra charges each month may include blanket wash fees, vaccinations/worming, chiropractic work, supplements (case by case basis), shoeing, and insurance. Additional fees apply for showing and traveling with the team.


Level III - Show – By private arrangement, intended for those clients showing at the regional and national levels with Karma Huff Training


Additional Information:

  • Tack and Equipment: Will be provided by the leasor. Any tack/equipment provided by the leasee (client) must be approved by the trainer to determine acceptability.
    • Any broken, damaged or lost tack that has been used by the leasee will be billed to the leasee at new, replacement cost.
  • Leasees (clients) are responsible for routine tack cleaning at the discretion of the trainer.
  • Show Lease clients are responsible for grooming and bathing of their leased horse as well as regular bathing/conditioning of tails (at least one time per month). Tails to be maintained in tail bags.
  • Veterinary Care:         
              Routine – divided by leasee and management as designated per lease (vaccinations, infections, etc.)
               Injury – all injuries caused as a direct result of rider/leasee will be the responsibility of the rider/leasee.       Veterinary calls will be made at the discrestion of the trainer/management.
